You can delete your account yourself, at any time, from your account page. It is deleted at once and for good, together with every organization only you are in.

Deleting your account can't be undone. An organization deleted with it can't be brought back either.

What happens to your organizations

Your place in the organizationWhat happens
You own it, and nobody else is in its teamIt is deleted with your account, with everything in it — see what deleting an organization removes.
You own it, and others are in its teamYour account can't be deleted yet. Hand the organization over — see Transfer ownership — or remove the other members first.
Someone else owns itYou leave its team. The organization and everything in it stay.

Anyone with a role in the organization counts as a member here, including staff with a role at one location only.

A few records are kept after your account is gone, such as payments and the fact that a free trial was used.

Before you start

  • If you own an organization others work in, hand it over first.
  • You'll be asked to confirm it's you with your password or an authenticator code, or — if you sign in only with Google — by signing in with Google again: see Confirm it's you.

Delete it

  1. Open the danger zone

On your account page — see Open your account page — scroll to Danger zone and select Delete account.

  2. Type your email address

Type the address you sign in with, exactly as the dialog shows it. Then select Delete account.

  3. Confirm it's you

Enter your password or the code from your authenticator app, and select Confirm.

Your account is deleted and you are signed out. No email confirms it: the address is gone with the account.

If an organization you own still has other members, the dialog says so and nothing is deleted. Hand it over or remove them, then start again.
