Edit your profile

Your name, photo, sign-in email address, the dashboard's language and its theme — the settings that belong to you, not to an organization.

On this page

Your account belongs to you, not to a business: the same name, photo and sign-in in every organization you work in. Its settings are on one page, Account, outside every organization, and nobody in your team can change them.

Open your account page

Any of these opens it:

  • Your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then Account settings.
  • The organization's name at the top of the sidebar, then Personal account.
  • ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows), then type "account".

The page has one card per topic:

  1. Upload adds your photo.
  2. Save changes saves a new name.
  3. Change email changes the address you sign in with.

Change your name and photo

Your teammates see your name and photo in every organization you belong to. Until you add a photo, your initials stand in for it.

  • Name. Type it in Full name and select Save changes.
  • Photo. Select Upload and choose a PNG, JPG or WebP picture of up to 2 MB. It is saved as soon as it uploads. Remove takes it off again.

Change the dashboard's language

Pick a language in Interface language. The page reloads in it straight away, and the choice is saved on your account: the emails Table QR sends you — invitations, billing notices, password resets — are written in it too. The language button at the top of the dashboard does the same.

It changes your own screens only. The languages guests read your menu in are set on the menu — see Menu languages.

Choose light or dark

Select your name at the bottom of the sidebar and, next to Theme, pick Light, Dark or System to follow your device. The browser you pick it in remembers it, so a second device keeps its own choice.

Change your email address

The address in Email address is the one you sign in with and the one Table QR writes to. A change needs a confirmation from both the old address and the new one.

  1. Enter the new address

In Email address, select Change email, type it in New email address and select Send confirmation.

  2. Confirm it's you

Enter your password or the code from your authenticator app — see Confirm it's you.

  3. Open both emails

We send a link to your current address and another to the new one. Open both: the change takes effect once both are confirmed. Until then, you keep signing in with your current address.

Confirm your email address

While your address is unconfirmed, a Confirm your email address card sits at the top of the account page with a button that sends the link again. What waits for a confirmed address: Confirm your email address.
