Notifications
What Table QR tells you by email and in the dashboard's bell, who receives the billing notices, and the notification you can switch off.
Table QR tells you what you need to know in two places: by email, and in the bell at the top of the dashboard. Almost everything it sends is about your account's security, your access or your plan, so it can't be switched off. Emails are written in your interface language.

| A complimentary plan is ending | Email and bell | The owner |
| Links to update a card | The billing email address, or else the owner |
Billing means the people who manage the organization's billing: the Owner and anyone whose role lets them pay for the plan, such as Finance. Subscription changes cover a plan that starts or changes, changed add-ons, and a cancellation that is scheduled or withdrawn. A free trial's end is announced a week and two days before. A link to update a card is sent by Table QR support when the card you pay with needs replacing. For a failed payment, the email comes from Paddle, which takes the payments — see A payment that fails; your receipts and invoices come from Paddle too.
Security notices
We also email you whenever your sign-in changes, so you notice a change you didn't make:
- your password was changed;
- your email address was changed — the notice goes to the old address;
- an authenticator was added or removed;
- a Google account was connected or disconnected.
No email confirms that you deleted your account: the address is gone with it.
The bell
The bell shows your own notifications and those of the organization you are in. A notification stays in the bell for 90 days, and only while you can still see what it is about: someone who loses access to billing no longer sees its notices. Opening and marking them as read: Notifications in the dashboard tour.
Switch a notification off
On your account page, Notifications lists the notifications you may switch off, one switch per channel. There is one: Someone you invited joined, in the bell. Switch it off and those notifications are no longer added for you.
- Switches the notification off or on again.
Everything else is a security, access, billing or legal notice, and is always sent.
