Look back at earlier versions
See every version of a menu — when it went live, who published it and exactly what guests saw.
Each time a menu goes live, the menu as guests see it is kept as a version: when you publish it, when a reviewer approves it, when a scheduled publication runs, and each time you save changes to a published menu. A version cannot be changed afterwards, so you can always answer "what did the guest see on Friday?".
Anyone who can open the menu can open its history; no special role is needed.
Open the history
On the menu's page, click History. The Version history lists the versions newest first, and shows the selected one in a phone frame beside the list.
- A version: its number, how it went live and when, and who published it.
- The selected version, exactly as guests saw it.
Each version says how it went live:
| Label | What happened |
|---|---|
| Published | Someone published the menu |
| Approved | A reviewer approved it — see Send a menu for review |
| Scheduled | A scheduled publication ran |
| Edited | Changes were saved to the published menu |
Who published a version shows by name only if your role can see the team; otherwise it reads Team member.
Look at a version
Click a version to show it. It is read-only and shows the menu itself — groups, dishes, prices, banners and recommended dishes — without any location's own changes. The page's address includes the version you picked, so you can send a colleague a link to exactly that one.
Changes saved while a menu is a draft, in review or paused make no version; publishing it does.
Bring something back
Versions are read-only. To bring back an earlier name, price or dish, change the menu in the builder and save: on a published menu, that save is the next version.
