Find what happens when you try to sign in, and follow that section.

Your password isn't accepted

  • Check the email address. Sign in with the address you signed up with, or the one your invitation was sent to.
  • You signed up with Google? Select Google instead. Such an account has no password until you set one in your account.
  • You forgot the password. Select Forgot password? and follow Reset a forgotten password. No email? Check your spam folder, and that you typed the address you signed up with.

More about passwords and Google sign-in: Sign-in and password.

The two-factor code is refused

After your password, an account with two-factor authentication asks for the six-digit code from your authenticator app.

  • Type the code the app shows now. A code changes every 30 seconds or so: if one is refused, wait for the next.
  • If every code is refused, the time on your phone is probably off. Set its date and time to update automatically, then try a new code.
  • If your app holds codes for several accounts, take the one from the entry with the address you sign in with.

You lost your authenticator

There are no recovery codes. If you added a second authenticator, sign in with a code from it. Otherwise write to support from your account's email address: the Table QR team can reset two-factor authentication on your account. You then sign in with your password and set it up again — see If you lose your phone.

Your email address isn't confirmed

You can sign in and work without confirming your address. A bar at the top of the dashboard reminds you, and a few actions wait for it: publishing a menu, sending or accepting an invitation, switching on guest ordering or reservations, connecting an ad pixel — see Confirm your email address.

  • The email didn't arrive. Check your spam folder, then select Resend email in the bar. Open the link from the newest email.
  • The address is wrong. Change it in your account — see Change your email address. If no mail reaches you at the old address, write to support.

You are signed out unexpectedly

  • Without Keep me signed in ticked when you signed in, closing the browser ends your session — see Sign in.
  • Changing your password signs you out on every other device.
  • This device was signed out from another one, in your account's list of sessions — see Active sessions.

An action you take after the session ended is refused with Your session has ended. Sign in again, then retry. Sign in again; what you were working on is still in your organization as you last saved it.

An invitation opens for another account

An invitation belongs to the address it was sent to. Sign out, then sign in with that address, or ask for a new invitation to the address you use — see Join a team that invited you.
