The location page
What the locations list shows, and what each tab of a location's page decides.
Updated Oct 14, 2026
Everything about one venue is edited from its own page. Open Locations and click a location.
The locations list
The list shows each location with its link, its Active menu — the default menu its QR code opens — how many menus and dishes it serves, and whether it is Active or Hidden. Switch between Table view and Grid view, or search by name.
The header
- View storefront opens the venue page in a new tab, as guests see it.
- The address guests reach by scanning the location's QR code.
- The tabs, each covered below.
Edit location, under View storefront, opens the same form as the Details tab as a page of its own.
The tabs
Each tab decides one thing, and most save on their own.
| Tab | What it decides | Read more |
|---|---|---|
| Details | The venue itself: name, link, status, address and contacts, country and time zone, opening hours, links, Wi-Fi, tags, photos, and whether its page lists every menu. Deleting the location is at the bottom. | Create a location, Delete a location |
| Menus | Which menus it serves, the default one, and when each is served. | Choose the menus a location serves, Schedule a menu at a location |
| QR codes | The codes guests scan for the venue page and each menu. | How QR codes work |
| Tables | The dining tables and their codes. | Add tables and print their codes |
| Ordering | Whether guests order here, how, and the readiness checklist. | Turn on guest ordering |
| Reservations | Whether guests can ask for a table here, and the form they fill in. | Turn on table reservations |
| Overrides | Prices, names, photos and availability of dishes and add-ons at this location only. | Change dishes for one location |
| Images | The photos on the venue page. | Create a location |
| Settings | Languages, currencies, design, fonts, taxes and a few guest options that differ from the organization's. | Change a location's settings |
| Marketing | Which of your marketing pixels run here, and with which account. | Marketing pixels |
Every tab is shown to everyone who can open the location, but a control your role cannot use is not. Without the right to edit the venue, the Details tab shows its facts read-only.
What saves when
- Details and Settings have one save button at the bottom for the whole tab. Leaving the page with unsaved details asks you first.
- Menus and Images apply each change as you make it.
- Overrides saves one dish or add-on at a time, from its own panel.
