Work with several organizations
Switch between the organizations you belong to, and create a new one for a separate business.
One account can belong to several organizations: your own business, a second business you run separately, or a client's that invited you. Each organization has its own locations, menus, team, settings and plan, and your role in each one decides what you see there.
A new venue of the same business is a location, not an organization: it shares the organization's dishes, menus, team and plan — see Create a location. Create an organization for a business with its own team and its own plan.
Switch organizations
Select the organization's name at the top of the sidebar. The list shows every organization you belong to, with a tick next to the one you are in; select another to open it.
Below the list, Personal account opens your account page, and Create organization starts a new organization.
You can also press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows) and type the organization's name. When you come back to the dashboard later, it opens the organization you used last.
Create an organization
Anyone with an account can create one, and becomes its Owner.
Start a new organization
Select the organization's name at the top of the sidebar, then Create organization. In ⌘K, it is Create organization.
Name it
Type the Organization name. Web address fills itself in from the name: it is the part of your guest pages' address that names the organization. Change it if you like; it can also be changed later — see Change your organization's name, link and country.
Choose the country, currency and languages
Pick the Country: it fills in Currency and Menu languages for you. Change them if they don't fit, and when you keep several languages, choose the Default language.
Create it
Select Create organization.
- Web address: filled in from the name.
- Country: fills in the currency and the languages.
The new organization opens, empty and ready for its first location — see Create a location. It has its own plan: whether it starts with a free trial is on The free trial.
Leave or delete an organization
There is no button to leave an organization: someone who manages its team removes you — see Remove someone. An organization you own can be handed over to another member — see Transfer ownership — or deleted — see Delete your organization.
