Delete your organization

Delete the organization with all its locations, menus, dishes, images, orders and reservations, and what happens to its subscription and its team.

On this page

Deleting the organization removes it and everything in it for good. If you only want to stop paying, cancel the subscription instead and keep your menus — see Cancel, pause or resume your subscription. If one venue has closed, delete that location — see Delete a location.

Who can do this: Owner

Anyone else sees the button switched off, and the note Only organization owners can delete this organization.

Before you delete

Delete it

  1. Open the Danger zone

    Open SettingsDanger zone.

  2. Start the deletion

Next to Delete organization, click Delete.

  3. Confirm

Read the warning and click Delete organization, or Cancel to keep the organization.

  4. Confirm it's you

If you haven't confirmed your identity in the last few minutes, Confirm it's you asks for your password, or for the code from your authenticator app. Enter it and click Confirm. If your account has neither — it signs in with Google only — you sign in with Google again instead: see Confirm it's you.

The dashboard says Organization deleted and takes you back to the start of the dashboard.

Deleting cannot be undone, from the dashboard or by our support team. Every QR code printed for the organization opens Page not found from then on.

What happens

  • Everything in it is deleted at once: its locations, menus, dishes and add-ons, images and fonts, QR codes and tables, orders, reservations and settings.
  • A paid subscription ends right away, not at the end of the period: it is cancelled with Paddle before anything is deleted, so nothing is charged again. If Paddle can't be reached, nothing is deleted and the dashboard says Could not delete organization: try again later.
  • Your team loses access to the organization. Their accounts stay, with any other organizations they belong to.
  • Your account stays, with your other organizations. To delete your account itself, see Delete your account.
  • The free trial doesn't come back: if you used yours on this organization, a new one you create starts without it — see The free trial.
  • Its link becomes free for another organization to take. Your old printed codes would then open that organization's pages: remove them from your tables.
