Limits and usage
How much each plan allows, what counts towards each limit, where you see your usage, and how to get more room.
Some things are counted for the whole organization, and your plan sets how many you can have. How a reached limit looks in the dashboard: Plans and limits.
The limits of each plan
| What each plan allows | Starter | Pro | Ultimate |
|---|---|---|---|
| Locations | 1 | 3 | 10 |
| Menus | 5 | 10 | Unlimited |
| Menu items | 500 | 1,000 | Unlimited |
| Languages | 3 | 5 | Unlimited |
| Team seats | 2 | 5 | 20 |
| Photo storage | 2 GB | 10 GB | 50 GB |
| Analytics history | 30 days | 90 days | 365 days |
Add-ons raise some of these without changing plan — see Plans.
What counts
| Limit | What is counted |
|---|---|
| Locations | Every location, hidden ones included. A deleted location no longer counts. |
| Menus | Every menu, archived ones included. |
| Menu items | Every product in your catalogue, whether or not a menu shows it. Add-ons don't count. |
| Languages | Your organization's languages, in SettingsLocalization. |
| Team seats | Every member, plus every invitation not accepted yet. An invitation that expired frees its seat. |
| Photo storage | Your photos, logos and uploaded fonts. Your plan also caps the size of one image — see Add photos and manage the media library. |
| Analytics history | How far back your reports go. |
See your usage
The Billing page shows what you use of each limit but analytics history, next to the limit itself. A bar turns red when you are over a limit, and says by how much.
Who can do this: Owner, Admin, and Finance
Everyone in the organization can also open SettingsUsage: Image quota shows how many images you keep and how much storage they take.
At a limit
The page where you add that kind of thing — Locations, Menus, Products, Team or SettingsLocalization — shows how many you use, names the plan with more room, and offers See plans. Its add button is switched off. A photo that doesn't fit in your storage is refused.
Over a limit
You can have more than your plan allows after moving to a smaller plan, or when an add-on ends. Nothing is deleted, but adding and editing that kind of thing is paused, and the page says so with Manage plan. Deleting always works.
Get more room
- Remove what you no longer need: an old menu, a closed location, an unused photo, a pending invitation.
- Buy an add-on for more locations, seats or languages — see Add or remove add-ons.
- Buy more storage once, under One-time extras — see Buy a one-time extra.
- Move to a bigger plan — see Change your plan.
