Subscribe or change your plan

Everything about your subscription is on the Billing page: the plan and its next date, your usage, the payment method, add-ons, one-time extras and invoices. What each plan includes: Plans; prices: the pricing page.

Members who can only see billing find the page read-only, without its buttons. Payments go through Paddle, our reseller: you pay in Paddle's secure form inside the page — see Payments and invoices.

Subscribe

1. Open Billing

   Open Billing. Without a paid plan, the page opens on Choose a plan — or Set up your trial during your free trial. If it is closed, click Choose a plan.

2. Pick the plan and the interval

   Choose the plan, and Monthly or Annual under Billing interval. Prices are shown in the currency of the country you are in.

3. Add add-ons

   Under Add-ons & extras, raise a limit with its + button or switch a feature on. An add-on your plan already covers says so and can't be added. Summary adds it all up.

4. Go to payment

   Select Continue to payment, or Subscribe now instead during the trial. From some countries, the page first asks Where are you paying from? and wants your Postal code, to work out the tax.

5. Pay

   Enter your payment details in the form. Order summary shows the tax and the amount due today. To change the plan or add-ons now, use Change plan or add-ons.

After the payment, the page shows Activating your subscription… and then Your subscription is active. Your plan applies at once, and the subscription renews every month or every year. If activation takes longer than usual, you can carry on working: it finishes by itself.

If the checkout says that purchases aren't available in your country, the country you are buying from can't be billed.

Change your plan

1. Open the plans

   On the Billing page, click Change plan beside your plan's name.

2. Pick the new plan

   Pick Monthly or Annual above the plans, then Choose plan on the plan you want. Your own plan reads Current plan.

3. Check the amounts and confirm

   Confirm plan change shows what is Due today, what is Credited to your balance and the New total from your next payment. Click Confirm.

The new plan applies at once, whichever way you move:

• To a bigger plan, you pay today for the rest of the current period, less what is left of the old plan.
• To a smaller plan, what is left of the old plan is credited to your balance with Paddle, and your next payments use it up. If you now have more than the smaller plan allows, nothing is deleted, but adding and editing those things is paused — see Limits and usage.
• Add-ons follow the plan. What a bigger plan already includes is taken off your add-ons, as far as your limits stay where they were, so you never pay twice for the same thing. A new interval applies to your add-ons too.

Add or remove add-ons

With a paid plan, your add-ons are listed under Add-ons & extras on the Billing page.

1. Change the add-ons

   Use + and − beside an add-on, or its switch. Extra languages works through your languages: Add language adds a language to your organization and buys it in one go.

2. Review and confirm

   Review add-on changes shows what is due today and the new total. Click Confirm, or Discard to leave them as they were.

The change applies at once: you pay for an added add-on from today, and what is left of a removed one is credited to your balance. You can't go below what you already use — remove the extra locations, seats or languages first.

Buy a one-time extra

Under One-time extras, click Buy next to an extra, such as more image storage, and pay in the form that opens. It is yours from then on and never renews; it appears under Purchase history.

When the plan can't change

The plan and add-ons change only while the subscription runs normally. Otherwise the controls are switched off and say why:
